Farm + Market: Healdsburg continues to garner attention throughout Wine Country, most recently with a feature in Edible Marin & Wine Country, one of the region's leading publications dedicated to local food, farming, and culinary culture.
The feature highlights the heart of the book's mission: celebrating the farmers, ranchers, chefs, artisans, and community members who have shaped Healdsburg into one of California's most vibrant agricultural destinations. Through stunning photography, personal stories, and recipes from some of the area's most acclaimed kitchens, the book captures the deep connections between the land and the people who steward it.
Created in partnership with the Healdsburg Certified Farmers' Market, Farm + Market: Healdsburg is more than a cookbook. It is a tribute to the region's agricultural heritage and a celebration of the relationships that sustain local food systems. The book features contributions from farmers, winemakers, chefs, and community leaders whose collective efforts have helped define Healdsburg's unique identity.
For author and photographer Liza Gershman, the project is both professional and personal. As a Sonoma County native, she spent months documenting the people, places, and traditions that make Healdsburg special, creating a lasting record of a community built around food, agriculture, and connection.
